Shauna Simpson is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC-1) with a BS in Psychology from Connecticut College and a MA in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University.
With more than 15 years of experience in outpatient therapy, medical settings, inpatient settings, and community mental health and substance abuse residential treatment facilities, Shauna has worked with many populations from various walks of life. Everyone’s journey is unique, and she meets clients where they are.
Shauna is committed to empowering her clients with the tools, coping skills, recovery community, and knowledge they need to not only stay sober but to live a life of recovery. A clinician at AdCare Worcester (MA) Outpatient, Shauna uses evidence-based practices to help her clients with a variety of skills ranging from mindset, motivation, positive affirmations and improving tools to cope with dysregulating emotions.
A facilitator in AdCare’s Relapse Prevention program, Shauna draws from her professional and lived experience and is highly dedicated to showing her clients that recovery is definitely worth it.
