Dr. Michael Christian Coburn received his doctorate from the Dartmouth-Brown Program in Medicine in 1988. He’s spent 22 years working in General, Vascular, and Bariatric surgery and has worked in the addiction field since 2013.
Dr. Coburn has served as Medical Director for AdCare Rhode Island since 2014, where he oversees the initiation and maintenance of medications for substance use disorder. He is inspired by the possibility of kindling a small spark of hope in every patient that will, with substantial hard work and dedication, become a lifetime of successful and joyful recovery.
