Mark Leary, MA has spent over two decades dedicated to making a positive impact within the human services and criminal justice fields. He is a clinician at AdCare Worcester, facilitating group and individual treatment sessions with an emphasis on dual diagnosis. In addition to his role at AdCare, Mark is the Program Director at the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office, and shares his extensive knowledge with the next generation of professionals as an Adjunct Professor at Assumption University.
Mark’s personal journey of over 25 years in long-term recovery informs his compassionate approach to supporting others in overcoming addiction. He has extensive knowledge of 12-step programs, such as Alcoholics Anonymous, and utilizes this knowledge to guide individuals towards healing and transformation. His dedication to the field is further evidenced by his service as the Secretary on the Executive Board of Directors for The National Organization of Human Services.
Mark has been recognized for his community contributions with awards from the Humane Society and American Red Cross. Additionally, he has received numerous accolades for his outstanding work within the community.
