Marisa Souto, the administrative assistant at AdCare Rhode Island’s North Kingstown location, brings a wealth of administrative expertise and genuine passion for healthcare to her role.

Before joining AdCare, Marisa spent five years at Palumbo Law, LLC, where she served as a paralegal. Her experience in the legal field has equipped her with strong organizational and communication skills.

Marisa holds a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration, coupled with a Post-Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Quality and Safety, both earned from Southern New Hampshire University. She has also obtained certifications from the National Healthcare Association in Medical Billing and as a Medical Administrative Assistant.

Marisa is currently pursuing an additional certification in Electronic Medical Records, with aspirations of potentially earning a PhD in the future.

Marisa resides in Rhode Island with her husband and their Shih Tzu, Chloe.
