Lisa has more than 40 years of experience working in the field of human services in one capacity or another. She has spent time working with developmentally disabled adults, done therapy with adults and children in their homes, worked on the psychiatric crisis team for 8 years, and worked at a local area methadone clinic for 8 years.
As an outpatient counselor III at AdCare since January of 2018, Lisa helps patients understand the disease of addiction, recognize the role addiction plays in their lives, and cope with difficult situations in healthy ways. She also helps them to see their own strengths and skills and to build on them.
Lisa loves her work and feels very humbled and grateful to be able to help others during tough times.
