Anne Thorpe is the Director of Nursing at AdCare Rhode Island in North Kingstown. With 40 years of professional nursing under her belt, Anne has spent the last 10 of those years working in the field of addiction medicine. At AdCare, she is pleased to work alongside a team of dedicated and compassionate nurses and treatment advocates to ensure the provision of safe, patient-centered care to each patient and their families.

Anne received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Rhode Island. She feels that the best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others, and firmly believes in the mantra “addiction nurses save lives”. As AdCare’s Director of Nursing, Anne leads by example and treats everyone with dignity, respect, and kindness, all while providing quality care.
