AdCare Rhode Island Community Nights for Families

At AdCare Treatment Centers, we understand that addiction affects the whole family. To help our community members find support and face addiction in their family, we are offering a 12-part series that is free and open to the public.

Finding Support: Facing Addiction in Families

Each week, the series programming will revolve around a new topic. This is a sober, confidential setting and participants will be asked to be respectful and hold supportive space for one another. Light refreshments will be offered.

About Kelly McDermott

Kelly McDermott, BA, is a life-long Rhode Island resident and second year Couple and Family Therapy graduate student at the University of Rhode Island. As a clinical intern with AdCare Rhode Island, Kelly has been working independently and with seasoned clinical staff to provide substance use and family services in the inpatient and outpatient settings.

Kelly has a background in holistic and art therapy practices and incorporates these into her clinical practice. Kelly provides a supportive, safe, educational environment to initiate growth and healing. Kelly’s services will be extended to the community in a 12-part series aimed at supporting families and loved ones living with substance use.
