Kevin Merk joined AdCare Hospital as Director of Pharmacy in March 2024, bringing nearly two decades of pharmacy experience across a variety of clinical and community practice settings. His diverse background allows him to approach pharmacy operations with a strong understanding of both patient care and hospital workflows.

Prior to joining AdCare in his current role, Kevin worked with the organization through an independent pharmacy partnership, giving him valuable insight into the hospital’s operations and the needs of its clinical teams. As Director of Pharmacy, he leads the Pharmacy Department in supporting nursing staff and ensuring patients receive safe, timely, and effective medication management as part of their treatment and recovery.

Kevin earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Boston College and his Doctor of Pharmacy from MCPHS University in Worcester. A longtime resident and healthcare professional in Central Massachusetts, he has built strong relationships throughout the region’s healthcare community.
