John N. Copeland joined AdCare’s Quincy location in 2017, bringing solid experience in mental health and substance use treatment and administration. As Director of the Quincy program, John forged partnerships in the community and expanded treatment to provide not only Intensive Outpatient Programs and Early Recovery Groups, but also Specialty Services such as Parenting in Recovery and a complimentary Family Informational Program.

In 2023, John took over as Executive Director of Outpatient and Telehealth Services at AdCare Hospital. He conducts a weekly recovery group and manages a caseload of individual patients, interacting daily with them to inform them about services or receive feedback about their treatment experience. John and his team care deeply about the work they do and are delighted to see patients at AdCare transform their lives and achieve their goals.

John graduated from Siena College in Loudonville, NY with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and earned a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Boston College.
