The Joint Commission Gold Seal

As part of the re-accreditation process, surveyors from The Joint Commission audited AdCare Hospital and outpatient offices.  They interviewed staff and patients about the delivery of services and tracked patient care throughout AdCare’s continuum of treatment.  “Accreditation from The Joint Commission underscores the energy, commitment and passion of AdCare employees for quality patient care and safety,” said David W. Hillis, CEO and President of AdCare Hospital.

 Founded in 1951, The Joint Commission is the nation’s oldest and largest standards-setting and accrediting body in the healthcare industry.  AdCare Hospital’s re-accreditation from The Joint Commission is for a three-year period.
