Employees and visitors will be restricted from smoking in any building or on hospital premises.  Visitors will be asked to extinguish their tobacco product or to please leave the grounds of the hospital should they wish to smoke. Smoking will not be permitted in personal vehicles parked on the AdCare campus.

This policy is designed to promote health, reduce the risk of fire hazards and protect employees, visitors, patients and others from secondary smoke.Tobacco products include, but are not limited to: cigarettes, cigars, chewing tobacco and pipe smoking.
